Games of this style are based on the real-life sport of boxing. Two boxers usually fight in a small square ring and follow a set of rules. They use only their fists and may not strike below an opponent’s waist. Some boxing games feature exaggerated play, or incorporate unconventional elements, but are still classified under this style. The boxing style does not apply to kickboxing, wrestling, or traditional fighting games.
